What is Hypnobirthing?
I have trained with Katharine Graves Hypnobirthing (KGH) – known as ‘the home of hypnobirthing’. It is a complete antenatal birth preparation programme, created by Katharine Graves, nearly 20 years ago. KGH uses a variety of relaxation techniques and self-hypnosis to help pregnant women and expectant parents have a calm, comfortable and empowering birth.
Wherever your baby is born – at home, or at hospital – learning hypnobirthing will give you the confidence and knowledge to have a positive birth journey.
Hypnobirthing can be used for all births – vaginal or c-section, without drugs, or with an epidural, or with as many drugs as you wish. However your baby arrives into this world, completing a course in hypnobirthing will help you understand how your body works, how labour happens, and what your body is capable of.
Learning hypnobirthing will help you understand the stereotypes of pregnancy and birth that have lasted for generations – but which we can challenge now, so that you can have a positive birth experience.
Forget every type of birth and labour you have watched on TV, or every negative birth story you’ve heard from family and friends – your baby can arrive into the world in a calm, comfortable and confident atmosphere.
Is hypnobirthing right for me?
Quick answer – yes! Hypnobirthing is for everyone – whatever birth you want, or end up having, hypnobirthing can help you stay calm, confident and informed – whatever your journey brings.
Are you feeling anxious or worried about giving birth to your baby? Take my hypnobirthing course and you’ll leave feeling calm, confident and in-control.
